SMASHING IDOLS NEWS

September 8th, 2004 - Smashing Idols has been spending time in the recording studio. We have recorded the tracks for 3 songs (Broken, You Are Alive, Send) and are now mixing the tracks at 17th Ave Productions with Plink Giglio. As soon as we are able we will make some clips available so you can get a taste of what's in store. We also had a chance to be a test band for CNBC's McEnroe show. We are working on having some video clips available too. Thanks to all those who are praying for us. God has been so good to us. Many thanks to the Shepherd's Place, Escape Café, Victory Café, New Hope Community Church, and Parkside Community Church for your hospitality and the opportunity to reach out. We are looking forward to seeing everyone at our next concert.

April 24th, 2004 - Smashing Idols rocked hard on Saturday evening at the Escape Cafe in Pompton Plains, NJ. Special thanks to: the sound crew, and everyone else there who made us feel welcome. We shared some new tunes,had an awesome time of worship, and heard a powerful message about being authentic and communicating the gospel. We even had a some moshing starting up at the end of the show. Thanks for an awsome time! Keep on rockin' in Jesus name...

February 17th, 2004 - Today's the day!!!! Smashing Idols (by the grace of God) begins recording our next CD. We ask for all of you to pray for us, that we would be of one mind and that we would stay focused. We also ask you to pray that our schedules would work out well so that we may finish the project in a reasonable time so that we can bless you, our fans and friends, and family. Most importantly, we want Jesus to lead us and to be NUMBER ONE in all of this. Thanks for your prayers and encouragement. We look forward to bringing His message to you and to the world.

January 30th, 2004 - Smashing Idols rocked out Saturday evening (Jan. 10) at the Shepherd's Place in Old Bridge, NJ. Special thanks to: John and crew, the Old Bridge Firehouse,the Kitchen crew, Danny Onorato, Corey, Connor, Christi, Nicole, Stevie, Rich, Pat, Dan A., Travis and all the rest.

We want you to know that our prayers are with you; We encourage you to continue to stand firm in the LORD and rest under the shadow of HIS mighty wings. It's TRUE, JESUS IS ALIVE and we believe it!!! That's why we came to be with you. Keep on seeking HIS face and loving HIM and those around you. And keep yourselves from idols.

...and finally, to quote one of the teens, let us close by saying, "Our God is not invisible, we just can't see Him". Now if you can figure that one out, please email us !!!
